Training & Development
Capability that stays after we leave.
From LMS setup to developing your own in-house trainers for critical equipment. The measure of a training programme is what your team can do six months later.
What we find on most sites
- Training bought against a generic matrix rather than the equipment on site
- Capability that leaves when the external trainer does
- Skill gaps that only surface when something fails
- Competence records scattered across systems and inboxes
- Refresher dates nobody is tracking until an auditor asks
What you are left with
- A plan built against the equipment you actually run
- Your own people developed and signed off to train others
- Delivery that continues without an external trainer on site
- Training records and competence sign-offs held centrally
- Refresher dates tracked, so proving competence is a lookup
Plans mapped to real skill gaps
Assessed against the equipment you actually run and the failures you actually get, not a generic matrix. The gaps that matter are usually narrower and more specific than a standard framework suggests.
In-house trainers, signed off
We develop and sign off your own people to train others on critical equipment. That is what makes the capability permanent rather than a service you have to keep buying.
Records in one place
Training records, competence sign-offs and refresher dates held centrally, so proving competence is a lookup rather than an archaeology exercise.
Common questions
What does engineering training and development cover?
Identifying the real skill gaps against the equipment on site, building a plan that closes them, and putting the delivery capability in-house so it keeps running without an external trainer on site.
Records are kept in one place, so competence is demonstrable when an auditor or an insurer asks.
Can you set up an LMS from scratch?
Yes — selection, configuration, content structure and rollout. Where you already have one, we will generally work with it rather than start again.
Do you deliver the training yourselves?
We can, but the goal is usually to hand delivery to your own trainers once they are signed off. Ongoing external delivery is a cost that need not be permanent.
