Common questions
Are industrial barcode scanners economical to repair?
Very. A fixed-position industrial scanner is an expensive device, and the common failures — emitter degradation, sensor misalignment, power section faults and connector damage — are all repairable for a fraction of replacement cost.

Almost always. Assessing a batch that has already been condemned is the single most common way sites recover unexpected value, and previous providers deeming them unrepairable is a weak signal.
Will a repaired scanner match original read performance?
That is the acceptance criterion. Units are recalibrated and tested against a reference code set using the manufacturer's software, and anything that will not meet specification is not returned as repaired.
